Christina Murphy

BIOGRAPHY:

    Christina Murphy is an American singer-songwriter, actress, and commercial model. She has resided in Austin, Texas for all 21 years of her life. Music caught Christina by the ears, heart, and soul at a young age. From the age of 4 she would sing about anything from penguins, to tap dancing on the kitchen floor along with her parents River Dance tapes. If there was a moment for that girl to perform, she'd grab it. 

    A tomboy at heart, Christina grew up playing sports from the age of 8 all the way through highschool. However it wasn't until she was 12 that Dad taught her to ride her first dirtbike. This hobby became a lifestyle for Christina, and she went on to race Motocross Nationals, and traveled to many different states, creating a name for herself "Miss Moto #22". Of course it was back and forth, back and forth with her love of motocross and music. How could she put 100% effort into making 2 separate dreams happen? By playing her music at the motocross track! Unfortunately, 2 broken wrists, 1 broken collarbone, 1 broken forearm, 1 dislocated elbow, and a shattered hip later... this adrenaline junkie still rides to this day, but has gone on to pursue the other love in life, Singing.

    In 2008 Christina was beginning to get noticed in the Austin, Texas music capital of the world, as she played shows in multiple alternative rock venues. Influenced by bands such as Avril Lavigne, Paramore, Hey Monday, Fireflight, Pink, Meg & Dia, etc. Christina's ideal place to be is rocking out on stage!

    It wasn't until joining the talent agency AMTC (Actors, Models, & Talent for Christ) that she realized how much fun acting & modeling could be. In just a few months Christina Murphy's managed to be booked for fashion shows and photo-shoots in her area.

    Christina has worked hard to get her name in newspapers, magazines, concert tickets, and radio. Always striving to be above average, but keeping her roots in the ground, she lives by the quote "Live Faster, Love Stronger"... because you're here to live life, live it full throttle & love all those around you!
